Gyakie born Jackline Acheampong (16 December 1998) is a Ghanaian afrobeat/afro singer. She is the daughter of Ghana’s music legend Ernest ‘Owoahene’ Nana Acheampong, one-half of the famous Lumba Brothers. She is managed by music management and record label company, Flip The Music.

In 2019, Gyakie released her first single titled; "Love is Pretty" which paved way for another single, "Never Like This." In August 2020, the "Forever" song from her five-track EP, titled "Seed" was her claim to fame enjoying airplay and leading charts in Ghana, Kenya and Nigeria.
Early life and education
Gyakie was raised in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. She completed her primary school in Kumasi and her senior secondary school education in T.I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School, Kumasi. Where she obtained her West African School Certificate from the institution.
Gyakie graduated with a bachelor’s degree in International Business from the Kwame Nkrumah University Of Science and Technology (KNUST).
Career
Gyakie was born into a family of musicians, she had started joining her father in the studio at the age of eight. She was also influenced by Asa, Efya, Burna Boy, Rihanna and Ghanaian musician Omar Sterling of R2Bees.
She began her music career in early 2019 while still a student at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
In February 2019 Gyakie released her first single; "Love is Pretty" and preceded to release, "Never Like This."
In August 2020, Gyakie released five-track EP, titled Seed. The cover artwork of the EP was a photo that shows her childhood, wearing studio headphones and posing in the recording booth alongside her father, Nana Acheampong. A visual which could easily be taken as a bold index finger pointing right at the family business.
The “Forever” track on the Seed EP enjoyed massive airplay in Ghana, Kenya and Nigeria. It topped music charts such as Billboard’s Top Thriller Global and Shazam's Top 200 charts.
Gyakie released a remix of "Forever" with Nigerian singer Omah Lay in March 2021.
She was adjudged the emerging woman of the year at the 2021 3Music Women's Brunch for the 3Music Awards 2021.
Gyakie is currently being managed by Flip The Music Entertainment outfit. She has also signed an international record deal with Sony Music entertainment, RCA Records UK and Sony Music Africa.
In March 2022, Gyakie was adjudged the Woman of the Year for the 3Music Awards 2022 during the 3Music Women's brunch.
In June 2022, Gyakie got featured on Grammys Herbal tea and white sofas interview, a new series where artists reveal their backstage must-haves.
She has been featured in Nigeria’s One Tribe Magazine and Red Bull South Africa. She has been a guest on Focus On Africa produced by BBC.
In July, 2022, she released her second EP dubbed ''MY DAIRY" which features Nigerian musician Davido.
